The crash in the economy of the United States in 2008 hit many states and left many cities trembling. Detroit, was one of them. I experienced some of the effects. But just like any other event in life, it brought new opportunities and sparked a vision of art beyond decay. I have seen how the “Motor City” is bringing to life what seemed to be dead. Empty buildings, schools, fire departments, police precincts, and houses that were set on fire, have a tale to tell. Graffiti lies undercover, like a masterpiece ready to be unfold! I have decided to show those pieces of “art” that came alive before my eyes. Urging me to tell their story with a photography! Detroit-Decay=Art
